November. A sad month. Fog, scorched trees. The leaves are still standing, swaying, but somehow dejected and brown, desperate and breathless. They wait for the breeze to separate them. The trees are waiting for you too, the parting. Winter is coming. Some mist has drifted in and I am sad. The mist crept into my soul as well.

A ring at the door woke me up and I opened it. Ani and Petya were standing at the entrance. In his hands Petya held a flower – Cyclamen. “For you !” she said and I beamed. I felt nice and warm.

In the late afternoon, the bell rang again. I opened it and Milencho was standing at the door – the neighbor’s child. He was holding a bouquet of dimitrovs in his hand. “This is for you” he said, I dialed them from Radomir.

Two bouquets in one day! I melted with happiness.

You don’t know the day from the morning – I refuted this maxim.

I enjoyed the flowers all week!
